Caught the ferry over to manly thats not a bad day out
and had a jet boat ride in the harbour thats a must
maritime museum is a good way to spend a day.

Go and walk around the Rocks, unreal restaurants there, Luna Park, Ferry ride over to Watsons bay, or Manly, Sydney Aquarium. Lots to look at in Darling habour...The cross:

The only good thing to do in Sydney is when your car is pointing west and heading back over the great stone wall. (tounge in cheek)
The power house museum at Darling Harbour. Have a look at the Marble Bar in the Hilton on George St if you are into historic pubs. They moved the whole bar across the street which will mean more when you see it. The QVB is worth a look as is Centre point tower.
Then as Raeme says, enjoy the best road in Sydney, the road out of there lol.

Went to manly for breakfast and a walk around. Just waiting for the fast ferry at the moment.
Would like to do the dawn walk over the bridge but the misses no keen on heights.
