I saw my first mint cond Saddle Tan metallic a few weeks ago, on a HZ Prem. It is an awesome colour in the right light. Just the name sounds awful. If they'd called it Burnished Gold or even Saddle Gold it'd be more popular. I had only ever knowingly seen it on old panels in a dark wreckers or when sun-damaged.
The other awesome combo would be a Tuxedo HJ Kingswood Sandman with Sienna trim, or maybe Satin mist with the same trim.
Have I ever sent you a pic of my sandman ute when it was painted in original colour (orginal paint) Saddle Tan Metallic? It was also DY7.... If not I will email you one.

Is my ute still the only HZ you have recored in saddle tan?

If only 15 years ago I knew where sandmans where going. And didnt modify fir a brand new efi VS 5L engine (5k just for the engine!) and respray it in a nice blue. (dont tell anyone its a ford colour tho). thing is..... I threw the orginal 253 block. why would have I kept it........ doh!
