    Here ambos will only transport if there is signs of life otherwise they ( the bodies ) are left in situ.
    How long depends on lots of things like time of day, season remoteness etc.
    Because a death in a crash is a reportable death it must be the subject of a coronial file and is counted in the road toll ( if it fits the criteria ) even if the death occurs some time later as long as the primary cause of death is as a result of injuries sustained during the crash.
    What the polititions do with the numbers is up to them I suppose.
