    People see things differently.

No side windows is highly desirable and with good reason - the panels (in Panel Van) haven't been ruined.

The market shows constantly 3 to 5 thousand more for no side glass (not just Sandman's, but poverty packs and earlier models also).

It costs on average $2,000 to fill sides where holes have been and those Vans although more desirable than those Vans with side windows are not as desirable as those unmolested from the start.
I'd happily pay a premium for unmolested (never had side glass) and so are many other people.

It is always a good idea to add an image to a thread. Because it will be reference once the sale is done and dusted.

Yeah so where do vans with factory fitted windows fit in? Also a van with windows in good original condition is always a better car than a van with no windows and a heap of dodgy rust repairs and a shiny 12000 coat of paint.

In the less desirable pile, and around 3 to 5 grand less.

Only because people keep repeating the same old rubbish about windows.

What you think is rubbish is obviously not the same as what I and others think.
Panel Van with side panel windows simply are not as desirable. Might as well have a station wagon and get the other benefits.
Side panel windows are a rust hazard on top of everything else.

Its a personal choice the windows, my preference is without and would happily pay more for a van that is windowless, but I must say that the small windows on that van look ok and I could live with them and at worst they would be cheaper to fill in than the bigger ones.

I think that the fact that the van has had a reco motor installed devalues it more than side windows. The windows on that van are worse than useless, they don't help in reversing out of angle parks and deface the side of the van. Having driven both windowless and windowed vans as dailies for work vehicles and personal transport, having windows in the sides make it only slightly easier for reversing due to the height of the bottom of the window. They are usually too high to see anything smaller than a semi approaching, although once they saved the life of a moron who thought that they could walk across the back of a reversing car, I saw something out of the corner of my eye and stopped just before hitting her. Personally I like the look of a windowless van and if I was looking for a Sandman Van I would look at windowless before windowed. I would also want more proof than pictures of the paintwork and non standard interior before paying $40k for non original van like the one advertised, if it had the original engine and interior along with documented provenance I might be tempted.
