welcome mate! probably need some more ID and pics etc. On HX if it was 18V trim it would be a no brainer

Being Elizabeth assembly and Bordeaux with an 1860kg 2 seat capacity i'd be just about certain it is a Sandman. It is a new one to me as well, can I get the rest of its ID for the database? ie VIN, mechanical options and chassis #? Should be 6/77 build so chassis should be high AHX36xxxA possibly early AHX37xxxA. VIN will be 8M80?GL386xxxX possibly just rolled over into 8M80?GL387xxxX. I assume it is a V8 too (50/50 bet 253 or 308), but could at the outside be a 202 with A/C as well (this is the 500/1 shot). My bet is a 253 M20 GV7 but there are a fair few L31 M41 GU4 around this timeframe as well.
One other thing to note, this car being 6/77 may have RTS suspension geometry, it could narrow down the intro timeframe a bit more for me. Is it possible to get a picture of the top of the front suspension inside the engine bay showing the top of the shock absorber? Assuming it is the original chassis too.

Hi Byron, my 6/77 Bordeaux 1860kg 2 seat Ute with 18V interior doesn't have RTS geometry - ie the front upper shocker mounts aren't in the middle of the wishbones

It changed in 6/77 so trying to narrow down closer to a PSN where it happened. I don't think I have yours recorded?

Yes I have it, but it isn't Bordeaux! Yours is a 2/6/77 completion hence why it has the early geometry - the body and chassis will be May '77 assembly.

Thanks mate. RTS came in with HZ but the chassis was changed earlier in HX (during 6/77) ready for HZ. So still important to see the top of the upper control arm from the engine bay.
