Not yet confirmed and i'll probably keep it as a secret for the book. I have to keep some previously unknown stuff for it!

I still need lots of info. Problem is I keep finding little tidbits for a certain part of a certain series. Then I have to find the same for other series. Plus no matter how hard I try to justify a certain statement based upon logic and peripheral evidence, I then find the documentation to prove the exact opposite! It is an ongoing labour of "love" and will take a long time. Even thought about doing it as parts/volumes.
And while I have access I have been busy databasing other important info, directly related to Sandmans.

WB 019.jpgHi all ,first time on your site looks and sounds great.
I own a wb panel van that was made into a ute for work ,but now won't to restore it back to a pv.
The interior is as a sandman 4.2 ltr 4 speed with a very interesting side decal.
Original or not .What are your opinions.

You might have to get another body. Not a GMH supplied decal, could be something a dealer or later owner put on.
More likely a dealer. They had some weird decal/trim packages going at one stage just to get them out the door, especially during the run-out of a certain model:
Sandpiper (I think Gemini panelvan), Life's a Beach (which I think yours might be from the run-out time of the WB) etc etc. A few people may have thought the decals a bit groovy and retro'd them onto earlier WBs.
Regards,
Dave.
