Proposed Sandman ID Guide

Might be easier just to have a "is this a Sandman" sub forum. $10 to post a thread, funds go to running the forum.

perhaps a guide that is easily used on the mobile phone. I remember buying my first sandman and I had printed a pile of pages off the old ID guide on the site and it was fairly obvious to the guy selling the car that I was a little more than interested in the tag info.

I like the flow chart idea, if it could be made to work.

I think we need something that is very simple to read, not pages of information. It should be a checklist that leads the person to either disregard the car they are looking at, or guide them to hop on the site and ask a few more questions.

We have slowly seen people stop asking if a ute is a Sandman when it clearly has 3 seat on the ADR, but there is still confusion with the N and M (Kingswood and Commercial) codes on cars whether it is a HJ ute or not.

This guide is not planning to be the ultimate checklist/guide - but a tool to assist people to investigate further or discount completely.

How to implement that is the question, and I am open to suggestions.

I have a copy of the original sandman ID list in print form although there are a few grey area especially hj's I think it is a great tool
