A free vintage sticker to anyone who can point out what is wrong with this thread.

One post wonder trying to fleece us for some old part no-ones cared about for 35 years but now they think it's worth a shed load of money cause some Rare spares dingbat thinks that their I'll fitting hunk of junk is the only option. Now where's my sticker?

FWIW, I paid $500 for one about 10 years ago. It was attached to a HZ GTS though, along with all it's original parts excluding motor/box and wearing 85% of its original paint and pinstripes.

You should never assume anything. My dad is a hoarder and never throws things out. Now he is having a clean out of his shed. He owned 5 sandman panal vans back in the day. We are merely trying to find out what it is worth. Dad though $100. So there you go not out to make $1000s. Get your facts right before you start shooting your mouth off about someone!

gemtree2000 your best bet is to list it on ebay and post a link to it on here. If its good I reckon it will make better than $100.

If he's only after $100 it'll be sold before he goes to bed tonight. Most people asking what things are worth usually want more than top dollar for it. That's the way forums seem to work. Sorry for assuming but you're obviously one of those rare 1 in 100 cases where the norm doesn't apply.
Good luck with the sale. Like WB said, whack it on eBay with no reserve, you'll get more than $100. That's assuming your PM box isn't overflowing already.

Thanks very much. Glad he is having a clean out now and not after he leaves this earth.(what a headache it would be ) He has stamp collections to original day bills! And a thousand other things in between. It's crazy Maybe ebay is the way to go.
