Wondering if all HX Sandman sill plates are chrome or are there varients. Mine look to be factory black and its been that way for a long time.
Also was it full shiny chrome or a nickle colour for the sill plates when listed as chrome?
thanks

I need some for an LX Torana as well and and trying to find out who can do it
This info came from the guy at HPC coatings .
I was hoping he had something similar..
HQ parts catalogue lists them as MAULDINGS rocker panel part No LH 2815373 RH 28115374 Sills are referred to as rocker iner and outer
The correct term is Scuff Plates and the HX Sandman has chrome plated ones. The standard Holden commercial has zinc plated ones.

People in this thread are talking about two different things.
Sills/Rocker Panel Covers (always Stainless Steel and Sandman's never had them as factory) and Door Scuff Plates (Zinc Plated or Chromed Steel).
It is the Door Scuff Plates that the thread is about.

Hi all do the sedan, vans and ute have different number of holes drilled in the scuff plates as my L/H side one I got from a swap meet only has 4 holes and doesn't line up with the holes in the body ???
