Pre 1980 we were holden fans, then came the crumodore....when I went to Bathurst and watched Brockie win I was a Holden fan....then they stopped making what we consider to be a good vehicle....we now have a Ford GT, and have only just traded in a cross 8 holden for a pov pack ford ute for work.....(family discount at the dealership)

Gaddy - We love our Sandmans.. and will restore them back to as near perfect as possible, and will never sell them...A good car is a good car whether it be ford or Holden.....I personally would also love an XYGTHO but I don't have 3-5K to spend on one......:cry:

and I agree with Absinth the only difference is the badge and motors....Loundes and Whincup went to the darkside coz they were offered more money...Ford really were not putting enough money into them...(I have a suspician the government were propping up Holden to keep manufacturing in Australia but that may only be a gut feeling) ;)

No offence taken, I know it is strange I am on a predominently Holden Forum....but the holdens we discuss are the ones we love.....

I just looked at the TV guide and there is no V8 race, it has been a while too....enjoy the show and shine, it will be good. Post heaps pics...
