What got you into Sandmans

The main reason I got a sandman is because I always wanted one! I had a HZ 308 van with windows for about a year but just when I had just about to pay to get it painted up I saw a HR Panelvan and thought I would rather have that, but they weren't a sandman. One of my mates loved his sandman and very regretfully got rid of it and when I went for a drive in his a couple times I knew I just had to have one.

Perhaps when we are all old...we can book ourselves in to a nice old peoples resort, or nursing home unit on the coast where it is warm..and we can all take our sandmans and cruise around in them together....;) Hopefully we will all live that long.....they can double for our herse as we each drop off the perch....what a nice way to go.....

I grew up with steel bumpered Ford's, and traded one on my sandman. The reason I chose a Sandman was I didn't like the door's on the Ford Sundowner's. Being from the Ford coupe's, they had to sag,they were way to big. I have pretty much owned Holden's ever since.
