btw, this car has the nice-looking 'snowflake' style wheels that didn't make it to the production LEs :(

Those nice looking "snowflake" wheels are another item out of the GM international parts bin, standard on certain late 70's Trans Ams, as were the pig ugly "honeycomb"rims that the LE's came with.

Only the radial tuned suspension badge under third dash vent from left.(hz sle dash facia), incorrect fader knob next to cig lighter and wrong horn cap ( hz style), is that what you noticed mate?

Love checking out these old threads some nice cars in there love the ss and also the hq front on hj-wb van best of both worlds only my opinion but have always loved the full length bumpers on utes or vans had an hq ute with hq wagon bumper looked cool but have massaged 1/4s and shortened bumper for my hz ute . Also learnt something new about the hq hinges have 2 hqs to wreck so will save the hinges for further projects that's why I love this site always learning

Yeah, the blackout's would certainly take the edge off the white. Maybe goat is going to do some mural's also?

Ah yes, I know the car. It is the prototype LE, and it is a HJ not a HX. It is actually the only LE you can call a Monaro as it is a HJ GTS Monaro coupe. Not sure why it has a HZ grille on it.
