Bumperettes were a genuine accessory on the 48-215 and FJ Utes. They were part of the NASCO accessory range and were always made of chromed metal. Remember what I write is just my opinion when it comes to the full length rear bars vs the bumperettes. Byron says no and makes everyone who has a full bar feel as if they have done the wrong thing (his opinion). I say you can have either, whatever you like. But then go on to say how "in my opinion" how to make it look right. I also stated that HQ bumperettes match the HQ front bar in styling. These same HQ bumperettes fitted by Holden to HJ-X-Z don't look right because the styling is different. Bit like fitting a EH Bumperette on a HD Ute or Van if you get what I'm saying.

You don't have to agree, it's not fact! It's my opinion and anyone with eyes can make of it what they see with them.
