Pretty poor effort to remove a post and pretend it didn't exist and that you didn't do it.

Who sent it off topic? What opinions are not allowed? Nobody has to agree with me but I certainly don't have to agree with you, Vombil or anybody else here on this particular thing.

What I stated was no different to others. I certainly didn't attack or pick on anybodies pride and joy. My comment was simple a reply to Vombil and how I thought side mouldings were disgusting.
If you would like WB side mouldings on your HJ-X-Z because you think it's a style improvement - go for it!

    What a load of BS! There's a fact ....

Never, ever though you were.... nor does it matter.

If you read the post, you were quoted as a secondary.

Thank you for your spray. This answer is being put here for all to see so that there is no hiding behind personal messages leaving the rest of the posters wondering what went on. Your post was quarantined for a short while as one person (who is not a mod) reported it to us as they found your post offensive and inflamitory, just like you or anyone else is well within their rights to. You weren't told about it as I was expecting an earlier and more timely resolution to a question I asked the other mods about your post (in reference to the reporting member's concerns) so for that I apologise. I do not apologise for temporarily removing the post from public sight.

Agreeing (or otherwise) with other posters is not what this is all about, let's be very clear. Someone raised a concern and I acted on it, there's your "fact".

    Have a nice day.

I like the concept of the WB turned into a HQ. Gets you the nicer front but the better WB seats, dash and retractable seatbelts which HQ's can't have easily. Good way to build a replica HQ Sandman ute methinks. Just have to weld in the side lights to pass rego.

Byron says no and makes everyone who has a full bar feel as if they have done the wrong thing (his opinion). I say you can have either, whatever you like. But then go on to say how "in my opinion" how to make it look right. I also stated that HQ bumperettes match the HQ front bar in styling. These same HQ bumperettes fitted by Holden to HJ-X-Z don't look right because the styling is different. Bit like fitting a EH Bumperette on a HD Ute or Van if you get what I'm saying.

You don't have to agree, it's not fact! It's my opinion and anyone with eyes can make of it what they see with them.

My dislike for them is because they don't really fit properly and hence don't look right, and i've never seen one done properly. This part is basically fact. I imagine with time and effort you could make one fit but it would involve cutting, welding and rechroming. HQ wagon bars actually look OK, but (and this part is my opinion) I like the bumperettes better.

That's OK. Happy to share my opinion of liking bumperettes over HQ wagon bars.

And leave the HQ wagon bars for those of us who have an HQ wagon! Its hard enough to find a good straight one to put on the wagon without all these vans stealing them
