bumperettes get my vote! full rear bars are gross imo (maybe HQ bar is an exception) and black chunks of rubber on the exterior belong to the WB statesman... only. I don't know why they put body moldings on any Q-B commercial other than utility/bashability. they murder the bodylines

Bumper mouldings are one thing. Panel molding = disgusting!

i know the owner, and yes this a WB thats been converted back originally to HX spec, then more recently to HQ spec after an unlucky bingle. the owner knows its a mish mash of models and doesnt pretend its anything more than his own customised van.

he hates hq dashes so fitted the newer style GTS stuff. the interior has just been re-done too.

yes thats a dent in the panel, if the photo was on a better angle you can still see the scrape marks on the edge of the wheel arch

I saw the van on the day and it had a wicked amount of velour in the back (had been done a while ago and looked porno!(awsome!))

Have a look in Jafts photo album and its the same thing.

Btw this van is 10 times better than mine, it's driving and being used!
Also I would like to add that not everyone has the same tastes. one person may say something looks shocking, but its also someone else's pride and joy.

Yeah well it's not the same body to the image you posted a link to. It's obviously made up of past cars etc.
It wasn't clear to me that you seen it on the day. You posted a link and I couldn't find matching interior images.

I actually said disgusting not shocking, but your right some people love very ugly things, but that doesn't change the fact it's ugly - just because it's loved. My response was to Vombil who also shared an opinion. No need to single out my opinions for special attention.

It's just the vibe of this thread. Going off topic, I don't like it when people's opinions are stated as facts. Alot of people read these threads and dont post. Everyone is differnt and intitled to do what they like. Does that make sense?
