    Hi dale
Do you mean this bit otherwise referred to as cowl panel

This is a rare spares on that was near to finished last I heard, might be worth a phone call

    OOOOH, thats pretty!
    Can I have one please?

Actually scuttle panel or cowl panel are both correct terms for that particular section of the body, I think it probably depends on which side of the Atlantic your loyalties lie.

I may take the Shooting Brake out this afternoon to have a look at a Station Wagon!

Dale, I have a couple of good scuttles cut out of HQs, depending on where you are as to whether or not it would be economical to get one, I'm in Warragul in Vic.

Late Edit: I saw the shoutbox, as you are in QLD it would probably be easier to get one in that state

Good question, I've always known that as the wiper grille panel

These panels have been ordered and are due the end of June 2013 @ about $450.00.
Also being made are new tailgates that are of thicker material 1mm due in mid February at $275.00. (These are ute ones as you can modify a ute to fit van easily but not the other way around)
Tailgate upper handles are being made including the ferrule.
Also being quoted are new quater panels for HQ - WB utes .
Panel van upper tailgates will be looked at later this year.

That is well recieved appreciated information there Les, thanks for the update. Some of us were beginning to wonder if our beasts were being left out (with all of the new arrivals of lots of staff but for other models and series) but we do understand the monumental size of the task you've set for yourselves there at Rare's.

Thanks again, looking forwards to any further updates your might have on those items! Out of interest, any interest in going again on complete HJ GTS guards? I reckon they might get some interest...

    Regards,

    Dave.
