Hi there, I'm on the look for my old 1977 HZ Sandman Van that I owned. When I sold it it had a 258 engine bubble windows side and back,a roof rack, shorten gearstick and it was black with XX7.

Hi crazymanr1 welcome to the forums and hope you find your old girl.
To make it easier, you'd best provide some plate numbers if you have them on record or incidental info like when and where it was sold, old photos you might have, past rego details etc.

OK This is what I've got,When I brought it on the 15/11/1985 it had 107,719kms on it and I payed $4995 for her , the engine at the time was 11QT438494 but it was removed and a 253 engine that I built was fitted, the Chassis no was AHZ014888? and the number plates were YP 884 [NSW black and white plates] which I didn't like and changed them to NTQ 626 [yellow and black NSW plates]. I sold it in 1993 to my neibour and then it was wholesailed so I was told. From then onwards is ???.Hope someone can help me find out what happened to her dead or alive?
Ok I found more information Engine number was QR162964 and Chassis No is AHZ2011488B. The rego at the time I owned it ran out 5th July
how many HZ Black SandMans with side windows were built in 1977? any taker?s
