    5spd conversions

    Whilst looking for something else on Ebay, both of these popped up (must have a common word in the auctions). Thought they may interest someone who wants a 5spd for a daily driver. The T5 has a multi-fit bellhouisng. Supra is for a manual block.

    NSW, currently $410, Supra conversion from a 1-tonner:

    Ive got a supra 5 -speed behind a 308. absolutely fantastic! just make sure you get the correct double lipped seal at the rear or you will lose all your oil and it will start humming!

    Is a T5 the same length as a M21 and do they need a different yoke?

    I like the 308 in the Celica idea. I've got a Mk11 Corona Coupe with a Celica 5 speed and a blown 4M and was thinking something similar. Get a bell housing and whack a Holden bent 8 in instead. Cars got air, steer and LPG so it could be a nice comfy cruiser that won't cost the earth to run. It looks way cooler than that Celica too.

    T5 comes in 3 different length imput shafts
    Ford 6
    Holden V6
    Holden V8

    i have never changed tailshafts around but i would have a strong guess and say that they have the same 32 spline yoke as the aussie 4 sp
