I wouldn't agree that both words are capitalised as Panel Van because neither word is a proper noun so capital letters shouldn't be used, it should be panel van. Unless it was written Holden Sandman Panel Van (or Panelvan) denoting that Holden and the model becomes a proper noun because it is the name of the manufacturer and model. The same as Ford Falcon, Holden Commodore, Ford Model T.

I'd say Holden intended it to be Sandman but I know what you mean about truncating our language I try to avoid it asmuch aspossible. The proper English dictionary is funny I must look into it.
