Turbo 400 Original shift and linkage.

Wanted to buy. Complete T-bar shifter and linkage assembly to suit a TH 400. Please pm me if you have a spare one (or two). Are Tri-matic assemblies the same?

Isn't a cable shifter assembly a better option? Linkages can be a mongrel....just a thought

When looking from the back of the installed shifter the TH400 lower arm and linkages (all the stuff under the floor) are off the left (passenger side) of the vehicle, the trimatic ones are off to the right. I don't have a spare, but do know where there is a fairly well used one (at a mate's place - which he doesn't need as he has sold his project) which isn't perfect (it is a bit old and needs a linkage rubber - I was looking at it on the weekend) but might get you out of trouble if you're really stuck. I don't think he has a t-bar handle for it but you can still pick them up new om ebay etc.

Suggest send the member ozbox a PM, he should have some good ones or know where to get one for you.

    Regards,

    Dave.

Just pull the roll pins out and swap the linkage over to the passenger's side. You'll need the TH400 shift rod though.

byron....they are a different shaped arm and when you do that to a trimatic assembly it still does not work correctly..

Always worked OK for me! In that case just grab a ratty TH one and use the arm off it on a trimatic one

Still in the market. I'd be happy with just the rod and linkage assembly or just the rod. Not to concerned about the condition. Got the time to play around with it. I'm actually chasing two of them.
