    HX Sandman documents

Here are some HX specific docs from Holden.
This is a 3 pager the with bottom two sheets part of the attachement for the HX Sandman document below.

What really stands out is we have found the $20 charge for not fitting the decals.

It's the locking seal, made of mylar (poly) not chrome.

This is the document that made it into the final release POA document. You can see where they state "same as current POA document except", this is the tool that gets the POA modified. Obviously earlier on the HX Sandman was to get the HQ-HJ stripes (ie just carry on as normal/previous). Prior to this there was to be Holden and Kingswood Sandman, this is where they deleted the Kingswood Sandman and upgraded the Holden Sandman to KIngswood specs, all the added stuff is the Kingswood bits.

Mylar is bright (chrome looking), it wouldn't be on the document if it had the base HX ute one.

Blocker, the $20 wasn't the DL7 option in HX. The document clearly states "only with DX5 etc etc" ie Sandman had stripes. The $20 is what they paid the dealar to fit the HQ and HJ stripes. You also want to be careful posting some of this stuff up. There is a fool on Ebay that copies and pastes this sort of stuff and puts it on a CD and sells it the Sandman Bible. He was copying and pasting stuff off my website on it, so I deliberately put some errors in there that'll trip him up.

Yes that was my point, we saw there was a $20 charge to not apply decals in the HJ range by the dealer. Now that the factory was applying decals for the HX Sandman, Holden were removing the fitment allowance of $20 to the dealer.

Wrong way around, GMH allowed $20 for dealer to fit the HJ stripes, so car was $20 cheaper to dealer. HX cost $20 more to the dealer as GMH fitted the stripes.

The dealer received the decal kit in the car (for HQ/J) from factory, they just tossed them in the bin or left them in the car if the owner did not want them applied right?

Yes, and there was a $20 allowance for the delaer to fit the stripes. This document tells you that with HX that $20 allowance was deleted and included in the cost calcs to factory fit the HX stripes. The ute is most likely dearer due to the tonneau clip holes.
