Really last time i checked they raced against xy gtho monaros chargers and all sorts of makes and models and remember no other straight holden 6 has won not only bathurst but touring cars championships rallys the list goes on pretty impressive for a little holden torana 6 but hey dont beleive me i can show you plenty of records those cars broke fact

I was actually talking about HQ racing (hence the quip about whittling the numbers down - hoping to get a rise out of Alien)... HQ series racing was a fixture of Bathurst weekend many times, which may not have been televised to western states I guess, however that was what I was referring to. Sorry if you weren't aware of HQ racing....

I'm well aware of most of the exploits of the Torana in 6 cylinder guise thanks...
