My HQ GTS turns 40 today

Just thought that I would share some pics of my HQ GTS that turns 40 today.
From what I have been told it was built on the first week of production, Wednesday the 14th of Feb 1973.

Nice. My HJ Prem is 40 next year. Unfortunately my V2 CV8 will be gone by then, i'm going to sell it as it is just wasted in the shed and too dear to register every year for about 250kM of use.

Just think, in another 10 years you'll be able to go on vintage car runs!

I was always under a similar impression in regards the age of a vehicle (ie; vintage 50y.o and veteran kicking off at 30y.o - have heard some refer to 25 y.o). Accoring to this (and a good number of other links I found during a search), we are all wrong....

It seems that 50's 60's and 70's cars fit in the "modern classic" pigeon hole according to them...

Still, a great looking Qey! Happy birthday to it!
