Found this van on gumtree, rung the guy and told him i would buy it sight unseen for the price. Only to be told someone had only just dropped a deposit on it, BUGGER!!

Bugger. Make sure you leave your number in case the deal turns sour. I missed out on a car once, guy who had driven it earlier called while I was taking it on a test drive. Left my number anyway and 4 days later the lady calls me up and tells me the other guy couldn't come up with the cash. I went straight round and got it.

Its a bugger when that happens. I never got over missing out on a tuxedo black Factory 253 LX SL/R torana with a genuine XU-1 motor in it. He only wanted 3k for it, and he promised to sell it to me but a few months later his brother sold it to someone else. Man I was spuin!

Saw that ad on gum tree thought it was a great deal too, as for the ones that got away I have too many e49 charger for 3 thou when I was younger lots of monaros including a old guy hg 350 manual which we had to break the door to look at cause he never drove after his wife die and the list. Goes on even a sandman just last week ahh
