Awesome, thanks for that!
Looks like glass to me.
Mate, it could've been. Its been a while now since i saw someone wanting to do those decals. I cant find the facebook page they were on. There is that many panel van sites on facebook, its a long process trying to find a needle in a haystack. Do you remember what facebook group/page it was posted??
Honestly no idea!!...... I may know where there is a NOS set for me to borrow to get the sizes from also....
There was a "Grasshopper" design as well as far as I remember, but it's such a distant memory I am not sure if it was on Sandman or Sundowner, I remember seeing one around the late 70s, it was a black, yellow and green (i think) grasshoppe, with legs and body that took up most of the side rear of the van, and its head on the tail edge of the front guards, looked pretty cool, but I havent seen it, or a picture of it even for so so long now. Anyone know of it?
I've just noticed a glimpse of the van on the "60 Years of Holden" DVD (about 7mins in). It doesn't mention which show & It is different to the one I posted earlier (which seemed to be empty) & has different wheels. Here's some screen shots:

It is a different van. The one above is a revamped version of an earlier GMH show van.
were females really that ugly? I don't remember them looking like that.
I think that screen grab makes her look worse than she should. Very 70's hair and getup.
