Hello all, vantastic weekend, organisers need a medal for putting that together. Great to meet all the forum members and loads of facebook friends as well. Travelling up with the Victorian contingent, and Damo was half the fun, we partied all weekend, chatted to all the clubs, and generally had a wonderful weekend. We have never seen so many vans in one place, and hope that future national will have similar numbers. Vans came out of the woodwork for this event, and its great to see the huge number of beautifully restored vehicles.
This van pulled up on Saturday night, a nice older couple owned her, and camped in a tent on a matching trailer, I didn't get to speak to them which is a shame as I think they would have had a cool story to tell
This is Buicks van which is a credit to him
This guy stayed the whole weekend, he travels all over Australia in this van, we got a surprise at the light show how amazing his interior was. This van transforms into a show van when he takes off the panels and replaces them with different ones it then becomes a show van...hard to imagine but he will have it as a show van in Mildura at the Nationals next year
A couple Rodney helped last year with info to buy this sandman van were there and they are very happy with it and found us to show us
This is the interior of the van which had surfboards as its stands
This van won most original van of the day, and he is a friend of Micks_sandman
