they always do, whatever you think it will cost just add another 15 grand but like i always say learn to do things yourself and dont always buy new parts off the shelf just because it is the easy option,it is cheaper to have all your bolts,clips etc replated than it is to buy new ones .spend the money you save on good body and paint. Dont just pull all your door rubbers off and throw them in the bin just because you want everything new,have a look at them and if they are in good cond clean them and re use them. there are a lot of good products out there to help you restore things back to new.I have just restored a HQ grille i bought at a swap meet,total cost was about $100 and 4 hours of my time but i could have just gone to rares and bought a new one for about $350.I have nearly finished my HQ coupe and when i have i will make a list of some of the great products i have used and believe it or not one of them was household vinegar for cleaning things .
