It is a very simple concept to, the tonner chassis would slip straight under a Statesman or Wagon with the back cut off, just have to come up with a way to make the back look neat.

I was actually thinking about that this morning, before seeing this thread.

My thought was to cut a wagon halfway through the rear doors, and then use the back half of a tonner cab. Should give reasonable adult sized rear doors and legroom along with a mostly factory look and avoid the "half arsed rear wheel arch syndrome" that seems to affect most of these vehicles.
