    I haven't seen such a device.
Wouldn't you just take the photos with your camera phone and connect that to your PC via its USB cable?

Ebay will resize your pictures if they are not something like 14 megapixels! I would tackle one trailer at a time listing them on ebay.

Still a pain. I just want to snap photos straight to a directory. Have about 500 photos to take, stuff is all on shelves in the shed (was trailer loads). Flowmeters, radar level guages, conveyor switches, local start/stop stations, PLC cars, DCS cards etc etc. Basically the whole electrical store from the industrial plant I used to be the Senior Electrical Engineer at. I bought the whole lot as I was also the electrical caretaker whilst it was shutting down.

My iPhone connects up to the internet via my wireless lan. Could you do it by taking the pictures on the iPhone and transferring them across?
I haven't tried this by the way!

There is a way of doing that. If you have I-cloud activated then every picture you take on your iPhone/iPod/ipad shows up in your photo stream and can be accessed on all devices (including a desktop computer).

Byron, the problem you'll have with a cable camera is that you then need to remove every item off the shelf to get it where it can be photographed. There are digital cameras with wifi available now but from what I can tell its limited to directly emailing or uploading to tube/stalkbook/twatter. Better off taking 100 photos and then transferring them in bulk with the Sd card.
Your big time sucker is going to be doing the listings. eBay turbo lister will help a bit but it can be kind of strange sometimes too. Is it the kind of gear likely to sell on ebay or are you better off advertising on an industry specific forum?

I am using turbolister, and i'm going to put it all in a store. The reason I want to expedite the process is the store has a monthly cost so I want to get it all in at once. Photos are the biggest time waster of the lot! I have the notebook and scales setup right next to the shelves full of stuff, so I stick it on the scales, weight it, enter the parcel dimensions (so Ebay figures out the postage cost) and take a photo. Total time probably 10 minutes an item, photo taking, getting it in, re-sizing takes about 4-6 minutes.

HK1837.. My only suggestion is to look possibly at using a program such as http://dropit.sourceforge.net/ it may work for what you need. I have not used such a program but have a play around see if you can sort it out.. I have an hard drive set up wirelessly that scans folders and adds the contents automatically to the hard drive. I'm sure if you kept the camera connected to the computer via usb (and it was recognised as a drive) you could set a program such as the hard drive i have to automatically add the files. For the auto resize you could use a program like http://www.addictivetips.com/windows...image-resizer/ to batch resize your photos
