Hi all, I have been looking at this site for several months on and off, I joined up about ten days ago. It has always functioned well, but yesterday late evening, early morning I found the site was down, there was some sort of error message. I thought little of it, and went about holden research on another site.
BUT, today when I logged in, it was good, and then jammed, I logged out and logged back in, I got a mottled black screen with green writing - Matrix style I spose youd say which read just above centre screen "./ Hacked by Solt6n". Then there was a cartoon spy figure in the centre of the screen. Under this was a seeming email address which read "Farzed.Park [AT] Gmail.com".
Now, as it happens I have studied cyber-law (albeit some time ago). I considered this screen and why anybody would want to 'hack' a site like this, and why leave details - my initial reaction of course was to consider immediately emailing the address and giving them a thumbs down on the inconvenience they cause innocent people, but then I realised this is what the hacker wanted members to do.
If a person has hacked this site, and members email them to have a go about this intrusion using the address he has left there on the main screen, and do so using any email account linked to any personal email account, (especially Gmail) the person on the receiving address probably has the ability to gain your email password, facebook password, location, mobile number, location, even address - etc.
My advice is seriously Dont be tempted to email this said hacker, (moderators and site administrators excluded of course), but individual members coud be the targets. I would capitalise and shout this as a warning, but I am too junior a member to do so I think.
I hope a site administrator is online and sees this soon.
