Update - The 'hacker' (I use the term loosely) did not gain access to anything other than inserting a front page to the mysandman site (not the forum) by adding a file.
The database is secure and nothing has been damaged, the database stores all of our member info, all posts, pictures, search criteria etc and this is encrypted.
mySandman does not store any personal information anywhere about our members other than your email address that you supplied when registering. It doesn't mean you should not be vigilant when communicating on the forums, I always suggest you do not give addresses, full names or phone numbers to people you do not know.
