Good, bad, ugly. Do they just freez your knees? It gets hot here in the west and I want to be able to use the HZ on any day. Does anybody have a opinion?

Good 'to keep you cool' Bad 'on your pocket' Ugly 'as sin'
Have a look at other options like vintage air kits and try and plumb it into the factory outlets.
I LOL'ed when I saw an Air conditioner thread by Frosty.
Have a look on e bay, there are aircon heater combos small enough to fit under the dash and plumb in to the original vents.
About $180
I have 2 underdash units but would have gone for a combo if I hadnt already spent a fortune on original fit heater cores plus the unit I put in the wagon is big enough to freeze a bus.
Also there is no reason why one couldant fit an underdash unit elseware
I have two Genuine GM holden under dash units that I need gone
