NEEDED - Sandman for hire in W.A for TV Show

" I'm a television producer and am making a series with a British chef in January of next year in WA. We are hoping to private hire a Vintage Sandman that we can use as the "hero car" to take on the journey with us and feature in the show. Maybe a long shot"

don't think this would constitute 'private use' which could have massive ramifications for an insurance claim if something went pear during the exercise bro. personally, i can see why no one is tripping over themselves. Sorry if this sounds negative but i have a feeling the downside risk is greater. probably a better proposition for someone with a daily driver holden van with a sandman sticker kit?

It'll be a deal struck between the owner and the client. If they have an agreement, then its all good. I hear what you're saying though. Just being the middle man and getting Sandmans some publicity

Would love to see Gordon Ramsay busting his knuckles trying to get an Aussie 4 speed working that was stuck in first and reverse. Imagine the swearing.

I would suggest that like any other lease/hire arrangement the hirer would need to take out insurance with a reputable insurer on the car (over and above owner's insurance) to cover the activities and the owner would be named on the policy as an interested party. Easy fix.

If it was in VIC I would have no problem with letting them lease mine.
Under my strict conditions.
It would be great advertising for our iconic Aussie car. Think of what it would do to the image.
Not to mention the value.
About time we and our pride and joy's got some recognition on the world stage.
Someone must do this.

i gave up on my first HZ Van for this reason exactly - couldnt deal with the unreliability
