I know there are countries in the world where this is a tragic near everyday occurance for them and we shouldn't forget the innocent souls who are affected by them. However it is not something the "Western" world sees everyday, hence my initial shock.

its not good at all :( there are also reports that are incorrect flying aroung fb about a young girl who was killed, the girl in the photo is fine, it was a young boy who passed away :( and the other one of a man lying over his gf and reports she died, she is actually alive. Very sad, and very horrible. who does such a thing :( RIP those lost, thoughts with your families.

As much as this is terrible news, I cant help but think what American armed forces are doing in other parts of the world. Drones are dropping bombs on cities day and night where innocent people, men women and children are living a far greater nightmare probably on an hourly basis.
Im sick of the western media using scare tactics and fear mongering to portray themselves as the innocent bystanders when the truth is the opposite. Its all poor me crap.
My rant might come across as heartless, (and i do hope everyone is ok in Boston) but the one incident in America is a drop in the ocean when it comes to the misery and horror some people are facing on the other side of the world. You dont hear of those stories in mainstream media.
