Looking the goods
Grunt that is looking fantastic, did you get the trim and seats redone? Or did you buy those kits off eBay? Have to admit I've never been interested in putting standard radio in and moving the real one to the glove box till I saw your thread got me thinking now, I got to ask how did you get a silver faced dash with RTS badge?
I think you can get the stick on ones I have one somewhere off a commodore I think or he just painted his black dash I much rather the silver and black looks very cool
I know what you mean Cocko750, I put a silver faced in mine and sold the black one, then I found out that the van was genuine so I've just bought a black facia with RTS badge last week to change it back but I'm keeping the silver one for my four door because I actually like them better.
All the info is in the thread, the seats and door trims were done by One stop trimming in Sydney
The dash facia came with the car its one of those rare spares ones, I masked it and got the correct silver, again see the thread its all there
RTS badge came off a smashed facia I had laying around but there are plenty on Ebay if you need one
Thanks Blocker im onto it now..... only took nrarly 12months
thanks Jaft

Man she's looking sharp....mighty impressive ride you got there mate![]()
Red Stripes?
And I think you need a headliner for rego.
Mate, you know what I think about your van so I'm going to leave now and buy some more lotto tickets and a car trailer......
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
Thanks mate
Side stripes and SANDMAN on the back it had these bits left when I got the van
I ended up getting RWC and rego without the headlining, I had the visors and the mirrors installed and no one said a thing. I can now drive across to a mate who is an upholsterer for him to install the head lining. This is one job im not going to tackle myself. I think it could go VERY wrong VERY quickly and I want it nice and tight just like from the factory.
........ Will let you know when the tickets are available
A mate has a set of GTS wheels with new tyres just for special trips to VicRoads for registration and RWC's. Dont want to raise any flags and cause unwanted problems during the car inspection. Who know whith Vic roads rules on modified cars changing every miniute. The day before these wheels did a trip to VicRoads on a LX SS hatchback. Would have looked very silly under those huge rear guards
