Time to drag her out and start on another horrible job.... stripping the paint from the cargo area (bedroom)
Nice to have a clear day and checl the front end out in the sun
OK, enough rooting around time to get started
I was sorta lucky, the walls were in a white colour that turned out to be a house paint or similar over the original grey.
This is the result of many hours litres of paint stripper and thinners and of course ..... the trusty wire wheel.
I thought it was time to put the big boy pants on and tackle the floor. Sometime during her life some bunny had painted the floor with like a black thick bituminous paint / paste. Looking at it closely its probably body deadner.
This was horrible to get off, when you put the paint stripper on it it spread everywhere. I probably used over 100 rags, lires or paint stripper and thinners on the floor alone.
Fortunately before I did the underside of the van I went through and welded all the holes up in the floor and sides so that was one less job to do and I didnt ruin my underside finish.
Had a visit from Alien DNA, lent me some verbal support and left, thanks buddy !
