Just checking out pics. Can anyone tell me if stripes are correct also should it have black door handles. Number on plate is AHZ00907A. Ta Jim

Body plate says 9/77 Vin plate says 8M70THL393548Z - H being 78 is this normal?
Could this be an XU4 and not a sandman

agree about the commodore rims being vile, but HZ only had the round horn buttons, this horn button is correct for HX and HJ only, horn button with Sandman in the centre is HQ

I think this van would be value for money as I know what they cost to restore

I didn't know the HZ only had round horn caps (is that fact?) If it is fact, it's another reason I don't rate the HZ as highly as the other model Sandmans.

Mine is a 77 hz i thought the round button was from 78 up

I had a '77 HZ and it had a "proper" GTS horn button. But I didn't know it's full history and she had a few '80's mods so I'm not sure.
I'm sure others around here will set it straight or offer an opinion.
