    It's all good just thought I would put it out there. All it means is the engine number on the rego is also the wrong one. Going to make it tough to find the original. Never mind. I thought that was the case with mr jones and HK1837. So I haven't asked them. Didn't want to be a pain. Thanks for your info much appreciated

    That's late HZ . Which would also be sought after. Possible around march 1979 ?

    It's April 1979. The bloke I bought the car off said WB. But he also said it had a mild cam and roller rockers and both we're not true.

    Actually this motor has been rebuilt recently. But I have no paperwork. So I say sell as good runner

    If it compression tested ok then yeah I would paint it chev orange and drop it in. U have to have a win here or there or your rebuild will cost $50k

    50k i dont think i will spend half that but im going to rebuild the whole car with new or recon parts

    AHZ03070A chassis has original engine number QR8946xx....
