    In NSW you can get some history from the rego authorities,old rego papers or old owners perhaps if you can trace them. Dealer records too I guess if your lucky enough to find them still in business.

    One for Byron first, are there records for HQ engine numbers? if so my PSN is L286071
    The ute that you mentioned a while back would probably have been close, however I have hunted down the guy I bought it from back in the 90's, he reckons he bought it with the six in it. He's trying to find details of the guy he bought it from, apparently from Bargo or there abouts. So if anyone remembers selling a late 74 HQ in yellow with side windows and 2 sunroofs back in the early 90's please let me know!
