    I'm not chasing a motor, but I'm chasing a chassis. Its well and truely a long shot, but has anyone seen or own 'BHZ29069A'???

    Motors were swapped as part of the normal drive in/drive out reconditioning business.... I wouldnt think anyone swapped a chassis just to paint the new one. Most chassis were swapped because they were heavily damaged and as such destroyed. That's why it is usually a safe bet they arnt still in circulation.

    I might be wrong, but i think Hainzy searched for his original chassis...and found it!!! And look at his sandy now....stunning!!!

    I guess its a chance for someone hoping to find the original chassis. Some hope is better than none

    I'm still half looking for my original 253's, checking the ones I come across for sale etc.

    What a mission it is to get the engine number (or part thereof) off some people. Had one person who was worried about me stamping the number on an engine, yet was happy enough to want my engine number to check. What's to stop them from stamping my number and trying to sell it to me.

    I could understand it if it was something special like an L34 block or something, but it's a friggin 253...

    Also don't think I've posted the number of the current one in my van either. Will do when I'm at home.
