What are the extra bars on a country pack actually what we're all the feature of a country pack I know of heavier springs rubber in front of the back shocker were the shocker heavier duty
I can see your logic behind wanting to strengthen things during a rebuild but it did take 30 years to get that bad. I just question if you should be going away from original on a matching numbers car like yours.
I bet you'll have someone try and tell you it's a hz chassis later once you put the bars on.

Not sure Blocker, not factory as far as I know. Maybe to fit exhaust/mufflers, usually run down that side, in that vicinity.
