Yea Jeza, I bought it last November from a guy (Nick). I only wish I got more details about his history with the car, as far as I can tell it did some time up in Queensland and he had it for 6 years I think.

I hit the shed on Sunday with the plan to remove the front quarters and nose. Well 25 nuts later the guards are still holding firm! I have one nut left that is rusted in, so will have to cut it off but I lack power in the shed atm.

I want to remove the engine, gearbox, lpg system and put the front panels back on to get her blasted and primed before winter arrives.

Been weeks since I have worked on the van. I did manage to drive past the shed this weekend and get the chasis number, plus some pics of the headlining strip.

Must hire a handyman to do the stuff around the house so I have time to work on the Sandman.

After some searching and failed attempts I finally got my seat handles refurbished just like I wanted.

I got a local powder coating place to nylon tip the handles, they should last and wear well.

Hi, Are you talking about the section following the rear console mount... very strange for two to have the same modification. Would the console sit right even if they hadn't flattened it?

Are these two from the same plant?
