You head looks interesting.... Good time for a rebuild I think! I gather you will pay someone to do them for you so they will check for cracking etc. But looks like water in there at some stage..

Yes I have one recommendation for a workshop to do the rebuild, however I want to keep looking to broaden my options.
Definitely had water in there it's all fun times here!
Blocker has that motor been bored out? You should check before you go too far as if its already 60 thou over you have nothing left to work with.
A quick update.
The motor has been washed and measured at 30thou over, so we are going to 60thou now.
One of the bores has some rust markings so we're hoping the 60thou will clean that out, some pictures and/or video will come soon.
Here it is after washing, boring to 60thou decked and reassembled with new parts.

You didn't need any free weekends this year did you? That looks like a whole lot o' fun.
I got a call this arvo on the way home from work to drop into the machine shop and I am really glad I did too!
