    We had a few family friends come over from America last year....they wanted to do a road trip, so they asked how far is Perth from Melbourne? I just grabbed them a beer and put them on google

    I was gonna do that math on that too but couldnt be assed! 3 cartons it is.

    I did it in 2 days. Longest stint at the wheel was 21 hours. stop for fuel only

    It amazes me that aussies would rather see other countrys instead of there own our wilderness is like no other in the world
    cant wait for the day i can travel round this great land of ours

    Agreed. I did a bit of travelling around 10 or so years ago doing fruit picking and working on cotton farms in NSW and QLD. Did it all in my old LJ torrie too. Good times.

    I have no interest in going overseas to be honest, but I'd like to do a trip round Australia one day.

    Funny vombil my longest driving stint is 21 hours to perth to port hedland only stopped for fuel and a leak every now and then
    my goal is to drive from perth to sydney one day
