    Related but off topic, do you know that if you turf your old shed fridge, and spend $600 on a new one wth even reasonable efficiency you'll pay for it in electricity bill savings in no time. Sometimes even inside 6 months!

    I have been thinking of doing just that!!! my shed fridge is about 16 years old...

    See if you can borrow one of those inline energy devices, that you plug into the powerpoint, and plug a device into. It'll give you actual cost!
