Busy weekend of Shed time, whats everyone else been upto?

Very busy weekend, Started by replacing the next door neigbours snapped Axle in his SLR 5000 mock up.
Let me tell you bloody drop tanks are a pain in the arse with lowered suspension when you only have a jack and axle stands.
but 10 hours later on saturday we had the axle out and all the broken bits, replaced all bearings and new shafts back in, with a few beers to finish off around the pot belly.
Today involved a service of the Wb ute, and the cobra, spent the hole day greasing nipple, changing fluids and genral tidy ups,
Sounds like i owe the Mrs a box of chocolates , getting 2 full days in the shed, with no nagging yet.
Whats every one else been upto.

Replace the head gaskets etc in my boat gasket blue last outing all done except valley and carby next week end I surpose

He fails to tell you all I was there cleaning parts getting morning tea, running off to repco to buy an oil filter, special sort of nuts, and spark plugs, then later getting lunch passing tools and passing stuff to them whenever needed lol. Hoping I will get brownie points in the form of an EH I have my eye on which our son sent me a pic of today for sale in Wagga thininking it would be a great 50th birthday gift for me since next year I am 50 and EH is Also 50 years old.
So all please help my cause

Hey Jennie, thought you maybe be interested, a mate of mine has just headed off with his dad on the peking to paris ralley, in his just finshed replica of norm beechys EH holden, they have already burnt the clutch out once in the desert sand, but seem to be loving it. maybe take rodney & the HZ in the next Peking to Paris

Fix neighbours bathroom tap and. change 1 tile for her on the wall
threw out all ford parts out of my shed all going to the scrap heap
service torana today ready for a cruise tomorrow
love long weekends

Cleaned the shed up a little bit. Started working on the thermo fan conversion for the ute, did a service and replaced the sump gasket as it was leaking in the ute... Also did a bit more cleaning and measuring of parts for the new 202 (or should I say, 208ci..)

Other than that, sat down, read a book while 2.5''+ of rain fell just today... Overall, a good weekend, but it went too quick...

had to replace good old aussie m21,the old 308 must have more grunt than i thought,or is it just these shite boxes. pitty i hate auto's so much
