Guys just wondering does the statesman front grille have any type of badge?
For the hx if that makes any difference?
When I bought my HX in the eighties it came with a statesman badge (Statesman) on the right side of the grill. I have since removed it. Hope this helps. Cheers Dave
Yes, there is a Statesman DE VILLE badge and a STATESMAN Caprice badge for each of the 2 x different grilles. In HX I think it is just the way they are painted that is different, plastic and stainless is the same. Page 655 of the 8/76 HX parts catalogue has pictures.
I think they have a badge above the grille on the nose cone and theres a 'caprice' badge on the right hand side of the grille.
Someone correct me if im wrong![]()
On the grille for each. There was a wreath on the nose panel on De Ville, and a Caprice thingy on the bonnet on Caprice.
So there is no Holden black and white loin in the centre? Reason is I don't want to put the incorrect badge on my statesman front hx sandman
HX Sandman had a HX GTS grille with Kingswood lion in the centre. No such thing on Statesman, and no provision in the grille for it. But as you are putting the wrong nose panel, radiator support and grille on it make no difference!
Ok thanks mate.
