I found this last night and wandered if any 1 on here could legitimize weather it is a sandman or just a look a like as i'm not sure that the guy that owns it knows much about them I have a funny feeling it may be an original with a couple of changes made over the years , as i'm not sure if sandmans where fitted with auto;s !! , http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/herne...van/1020796894

Anything is possible, it looks like a mid to late 74 van so the time frame is right, you would need to ask the seller for the all tag details.

Trim code will give it up. Auto was optional for all engines for HQ-HZ Sandman.

but then again i have brought 3 sandmans from people that said that they weren't genuine sandmans

XX7 Yeh he is sure it's not but I have a funny feeling he's wrong ! Another question I had was I wanted 2 know if sandmans ran both 1 and 2 piece bumbers ?? I haven't benn able 2 find this out as yet ..

What makes you think that it could be a Sandman? I reckon being White makes it a lot less likely.

It looks to have black trim , guards r gone ! And it could be a white over spray ? I'm hoping 2 go have a look as I haven't been able 2 get much info out ofthe guy that owns it:-( will report what I find ;-) ya never know ! Was just trying 2 stay positive with that remark . Lol
