Will consider any condition, provided it isn't a rust bucket or full of bog. Must have all compliance plates and be authentic Sandman - have money and ready to buy!

Hi Mella Miante. Finding a good one is hard, finding one that someone is willing to part with might be even harder.
HQ sandman owners are a strange breed. Very passionate about there vans. Just my observation over the last few weeks.
Good luck.
money alone cant buy a good HQ Van. there has to be a certain amount of charm and good timing on the part of the purchaser if lucky enough to partake in a transaction. I called a guy a while back with a shed full of Holdens from EH-WB. the only ones he didnt want to part with were the HQ's. rare breed alright... for a rare car (these days)

Good luck mella I think it would be easier to locate hens teeth they do come up from time to time but you will need to keep a keen eye on all types of media and follow every lead.
HZ jasmine yellow sandman van
HZ Madeira red sandman van (now sold to bigrob)
HX mandarin red sandman ute
HZ malachite green sandman van
Married to Jennie285
They are around, stick to your guns & keep looking. Do plenty of homework & be prepared to travel or have someone inspect & then transport it home.
Cheers Vic
Hey, I know.... I didn't mean to sound arrogant with my post, but when we didn't have the money there were plenty out there and now that we have the money, we can't seem to find one that suits :( Age old story I guess. The car is actually for my hubby, and trust me I know first hand that HQ lovers are a rare breed - he drives me nuts because there are a plenty of other makes of Sandman's about but we have to travel around the country looking for a hq LOL![]()
You might have to build your own using a HJ-HZ.
