No-one wanted them. Everyone wanted the HX-HX Deville/Caprice grilles.
I had NOS upper and lower SL/E grilles, but only the grille piece for the lower (SL/E were a 3 x piece lower grille).

Isn't the SLE grille the same as GMH used on the prototype HJ Caprice (as seen at the Echuca Holden Museum) ?? Or is my memory completely shot . . I haven't been there for quite a while.

Same/similar to that '75 HJ GTS coupe that Leo made into the LE prototype. It is possible that the SL/E grille was designed for the LE but not used, i'll ask Leo.I never thought of that before.
